I BELIEVE that you decide how you want your future to be. I know there will be unexpected obstacles and situations you will have to face, but I truly believe when you look at the big picture, you have control of what happens from here on out in your life. I believe that if you set a goal and you really have your mind on it and believe you can achieve it than you can.
For example, I want to be a pediatrician. And I really think I can work hard in school and I can be one. I want to play volleyball in college and I believe if I work hard at it and give it my all in practice I can do that. I believe I am strong, I believe I am determined. And I believe that if you really want something, no matter how long it will take to get it, if you REALLY want it you can get it. Today was our Inspired 2013 day for the staff, and 7th and 8th graders and the theme was believe. I got inspired and I learned if something is important to you and you believe in it you need to reach out to it. If you are a 6th grader at Philomath Middle School, you are up for a treat next year. Inspired day is amazing.

If I could cure one disease it would be Oligodendroglioma. This is a kind of brain tumor. My grandpa passed away from this at a young age. Oligodendrogliomas arise in the cells that produce myelin, the fatty
covering that protects nerves. These tumors usually arise in the
cerebrum. They grow slowly and usually do not spread into surrounding
brain tissue. I was just a baby when he died. But he sure sounded like an amazing father and if this cancer was cured then he would still be here today. I will post a picture of me and him ASAP. Thanks for reading. Some things you should know about Oligodendroglioma: -It is not contagious. -The average age at diagnosis is 35 years -are a type of glioma that are believed to originate from the oligodendrocytes of the brain or from a glial precursor cell -they are generally felt to be incurable using current treatments -Oligodendrogliomas account for about 3 percent of all brain tumors -About 7 out of 100,000 people develop gliomas each year in the US. Our dessert dance is coming up and I think the theme should be night in Hawaii. The reason why is we only have three themes to choose from and i didnt want the other ones. I think it would be a fun dance for our class. Not very many people have been to Hawaii and a lot of people want to. I think an ocean background for a photo booth would be good. I would volunteer to help decorate as well. I also would like neverland because it is more formal for a formal dance. I do NOT want glow in the dark because that is more of a party theme not formal. Also it wouldn't be that dark because they don't allow it. We don't even have a lot of glow stuff and glow sticks are tacky. Categories
